Yesterday our partner organization Hope for Haiti delivered almost 5000 pounds of supplies to the center for storage and staging. There are three flights scheduled tomorrow to distribute these much needed supplies to the Sud region in the Southwestern part of Haiti. The Sud region – which includes Les Cayes, Jérémie, Roche-à-Bateau and Port Salut – was the hardest hit by Hurricane Matthew and is in need of the most help. Most of the supplies delivered were medical supplies – medicine, bandages, splints walkers and wheelchairs. We are expecting more deliveries on base from other partner organizations today.
